I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and studied graphic design at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where I received my BFA. During my senior year of college, I studied art in the magical city of Florence, Italy. After a few years of working in the creative field, I obtained a Master’s degree in Public Communication from American University to combine visual and communication skills and deepen my strategic approach to creative solutions.
I have worked at small branding studios, agencies, and in-house creative teams, and in these roles, I have led creative solutions for large and small branding and advertising initiatives in the public media and entertainment sectors, as well as for non-profit organizations. In April 2019, I established my studio JMWORKS offering creative direction, branding, and design.
I am a curious, strategic, and conceptual creative leader with more than 15 years of experience. I believe creativity is about finding that elusive intersection between concept, medium, and message—and finding this sweet spot is my bread and butter.
When I am not busy in my studio working with my awesome clients, you can find me enjoying time with my lovely family, my friends, and my awesome pup, Lola who looks just like this emoji  🐕‍🦺.
